FREIGHT CRAFTERS, INC AS PART OF ITS GROWTH STRATEGY ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF CARROLLTON-BASED COMPANY AMERICAN CRATING AND PACKAGING, INC.

Irving, Texas, November 3, 2022: Continuing to build and expand on its crating and packaging platform, Freight Crafters, Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of American Crating and Packaging.  “Building on our twenty-one-year legacy of service excellence, this is a natural fit for us,” said Mark Mathews, founder and President of Freight Crafters, Inc. American Crating and Packaging was founded by Ron Albers in 2003 and has been providing exceptional crating, packaging, and preservation services to its clients.  The company’s expertise also encompasses handling dangerous goods and heavy-duty industrial machinery crating.

After the announcement of this acquisition, founder Ron Albers stated, “There’s no other company in DFW that I would entrust my customers to and know they will be cared for as much as I have taken care of my customers.”  Mark Mathews explained that growth through horizontal integration has always been in his company’s DNA. He also commented, “…what appeals to us more than anything else is the family atmosphere that Ron was able to instill at American Crating.  This philosophy has been our guiding principle as well.  I am certain that the integration process will be smooth for both teams as our work environment is also based on togetherness and dedication to each other.  We are happy to continue the storied legacy of American Crating under the banner of Freight Crafters / DFW Crating and Packaging.”

Services that American Crating is providing directly complement those offered by Freight Crafters. Operating in the crating, packaging, storage, foam conversion, and long-term preservation services, Freight Crafters will create immediate synergies and opportunities to serve its new customer base. Moreover, relying on its immense experience in these sectors, Freight Crafters creates a platform to develop additional sales opportunities, and broaden its market development, and distribution channel growth.  This step is a natural progression in the company’s long-term expansion strategy.  Through this acquisition, Freight Crafters firmly solidifies its position as the leader in its industry in North Texas.
